Joe has worked on my family beach house for years. The most recent job he did for us was a whole house new wood floor installation. We ended up having to replace the sub floor and several structural beams where the floor was sagging. 

Joe's work is always done professionally and completed within a timely manner. He keeps an organized and clean job site at all times. We would never use another contractor. Joe is dependable, honest and fairly priced. He's only a call away and responds quickly. You  will always get quality work with Joe Matera!

Joe is professional with years of knowledge and experience. I've had work done at my primary home (exterior window sill rotted on the North side -aka the storm side) and with my home being 55+ years old was worried on the scope of work needed.  
 

Joe was able to examine the rot / remove the siding  and make the repairs in a cost effective manner. He is clean and works smoothly and always communicates and removes any debris from the job site.
 

Joe has done some work in my condo rental property - and was clean and efficient and didn't have any down time for my renters.

Look no further if you are searching for someone who excels in all phases of home improvement. I am currently building a home and needed someone to spray a wood preservative on some of the framing. Not only did Joe accommodate my schedule, he actually did more than was asked of him. He appears to be a 'perfectionist' and thrives on making sure that the customer is 100% satisfied. His character traits are what you want in an individual doing any kind of work on your home. I was not concerned about an unsatisfactory job being done.
 

Andra, Joe's wife, is also a part of the team. She made the appointments and communicated any information that I needed to know. I will definitely use them for any future home projects that I need assistance on. One other important thing that I would like to mention, Joe and Andra appear to be 'high-character' individuals. That is a huge check mark in my book, as it seems to be lacking with many businesses these days. Give Joe a call, thank me later.

I would like to recommend Joe Matera at MyMyrtleBeachHandyman.com. He is the local guy for home repair, build and rebuild- needs. Rescreened our porch, replaced gutters, put up shelves etc…Excellent work at reasonable prices. Give this guy a call.

I highly recommend My Myrtle Beach Handyman for all your home improvement needs.  Joe and Andra are an excellent team. I hired them to do a refresh on our family beach condo, which included demolition work, kitchen/ bathroom updates, paint, trim, tile work, and new light fixtures. Andra was responsive and promptly scheduled the job while handling all the paperwork. She was extremely helpful, offered advice, and gave great design tips.  Joe is hardworking, honest, reliable, and knowledgeable in all areas of his field.  There wasn't anything that he could not do or fix. He was able to troubleshoot and solve any unforeseen issues that arose during the job.  He was professional, showed up on time, and cleaned up at the end of each day.  In addition, the quality of his work was outstanding.  He went above and beyond to ensure the job was done correctly and we were 100% satisfied
